Electric vehicle drivers in Wrentham have a new place to power up. The town recently installed four brand-new fast-charging stations right in the Center Lot, making it easier than ever to charge your EV while you’re downtown.
These chargers are Level 3, which means they’re much quicker than the standard plug-in options. Most cars can get a solid charge in under an hour, giving people plenty of time to grab coffee, visit a shop, or stop by a local office while their vehicle charges.
Assistant Town Manager Greg Enos said the new stations are part of Wrentham’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and provide more green infrastructure. The chargers are available to the public and currently free to use, making them a smart option whether you're a resident or just passing through.
The new setup is designed to be convenient, efficient, and good for the environment — a small but meaningful step toward a cleaner future for the town.
