Two Mansfield Firefighters Injured Battling Brush Fire at Industrial Park
Two Mansfield firefighters were hurt Friday afternoon while responding to a brush fire at 20 Cabot Boulevard. The fire had spread through the wooded area near an industrial building when crews arrived around 2:00 p.m. While working to put out the flames, a dead branch fell from about 35 feet up and struck the firefighters. One suffered a facial bone fracture and was taken to Boston Medical Center for further evaluation. The other had a shoulder injury and has already been released.
