North Attleborough is starting its Independence Day celebration on a musical note this year. On Thursday, July 3, the newly formed North Attleborough Town Band will perform a free concert at the Town Hall Gazebo starting at 6:30 p.m. This special evening marks the official start of the town’s annual Summer Concert Series.

The concert is open to all ages and is a great opportunity for residents to enjoy a relaxing evening of live music outdoors. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and even a picnic to enjoy while listening to a mix of patriotic marches, popular film themes, and feel-good tunes performed by the band.

This performance is especially meaningful, as it marks the debut of the Town Band. Made up of talented local musicians, the group was created to bring a new sense of hometown pride and unity to the community through music. Their setlist is designed to capture the celebratory spirit of the holiday while showcasing the musical talent right here in North Attleborough.

The July 3 concert is just the beginning of a full summer of Thursday night performances at the gazebo. Upcoming concerts will feature everything from folk and reggae to classic rock and tribute bands, with new acts performing each week through mid-August.

The Summer Concert Series is supported by local sponsors, including Plainridge Park Casino, Coastal1 Credit Union, and the Sperry-McHoul-Pichi Funeral Home, as well as grant support from the Mass Cultural Council.

For anyone looking to start the Fourth of July weekend early, this free concert offers the perfect blend of local talent, community connection, and festive energy. It’s a celebration of both music and North Attleborough itself.

So, bring your family, invite a few neighbors, and enjoy a night of live music right in the heart of town.
